Overview   Graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1979 with a M.P.A. in governmental economic development; a B.S.in urban and regional planning from the school of planning and environmental design, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA 1973 and an A.S. in civil engineering from East Los Angeles College, 1970.   The first 10 years involved professional growth in municipal planning to the position of Director of planning and redevelopment with the city of Hawthorne, CA.  One of the prominent assignments involved the successful planning and implementation of a 1,000 acre commercial and industrial redevelopment plan amendment made gave new insights to environmental design consternations in urban areas that predate the growth of the mid 1940’s and the aviation industry.
